1x4 Blockless PLC Splitter Without Connector
Fiber Optic PLC Splitter is an essential passive component in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks. The full name of the PLC Splitter is Planar Lightwave Circuit Splitter, which is available with or without connectors. It employs silica optical waveguide technology and is used for distributing optical power from the central office to customer premises in FTTx and FTTH networks.
The PLC Splitter provides a cost-effective and space-saving networking solution for optical transmission systems. The blockless PLC splitter without connectors is housed in a stainless steel module and features a standard 900 μm loose tube cable. As passive optical splitters, blockless PLC splitters are widely used in FTTH Passive Optical Networks (PONs), including EPON (referred to as EPON Splitters) and GPON (referred to as GPON Splitters).
