2x32 Fiber Splitter ABS Module
A Fiber PLC Splitter, also referred to as an optical splitter or fiber splitter, is a device that evenly splits an optical signal from one input fiber into multiple output fibers. It is characterized by uniform broadband power distribution, featuring exceptional insertion loss uniformity across all channels, resulting in practical wavelength independence across the entire transmission range (1260 to 1650 nm). Optical splitters play a critical role in passive optical networks (PONs), such as EPON, GPON, BPON, FTTX, and FTTH, by enabling a single PON interface to be shared among multiple subscribers.
The 2x32 Fiber Splitter ABS Module is widely used in PON networks. It provides complete protection for internal optical components and cables, while its design ensures convenient and reliable installation. However, its physical size is relatively large. This splitter is primarily deployed in connection and distribution equipment or network cabinets.
