FTTP Outdoor Optical Fiber Cable is a patented, miniature flat cable incorporating rated tight-buffered optical fiber. Its outstanding toughness and flat design make it ideal for both outdoor environments (overhead, direct burial, conduit) and indoor applications along walls and corners. A significant advantage is its ability to enable direct installation from the base to an indoor Optical Network Terminal (ONT), eliminating intermediate splicing or terminations on the residence's exterior or interior walls, which substantially reduces installation costs.
The Outdoor Fiber Cable features two parallel Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) strength members running along the sides. The optical fiber unit is housed within a central loose tube for protection. The external sheath is made of durable Polyethylene (PE), providing robust outdoor protection. An integral water-blocking tape prevents moisture penetration.
