MTP/MPO 10GB OM3 3.0mm Trunk Cable Assembly

Additional options and combinations are also available. All multi-fiber optic cables are customizable.

 

The MTP Elite connector features an angled-polished MTP design to reduce back reflection and minimize insertion loss. Jacket options include a round 3mm jacket, flat-jacketed ribbon cable, or bare ribbon MTP cables. Jackets are also available in plenum- or riser-rated versions.

 

The most commonly used MTP/MPO fiber cables are MTP/MPO trunk cables and MTP/MPO harness cables.

 

 

MTP/MPO Trunk Cables are designed for high-density applications, offering excellent benefits in terms of on-site installation time and space savings. Trunk cables serve as permanent links connecting MTP/MPO modules to each other. Typically, trunk cables are available with 12, 24, 48, or 72 fibers. Their ends are terminated with the customer's choice of 12-fiber or 24-fiber MTP/MPO connectors (as shown in the figure below).
