It is a universal-access Fiber Optic Cable Junction Box designed to ensure the continuity and isolation of high-capacity fiber optic cables, which are used in the deployment of optical power distribution and transmission networks.

  • Product Introduction

The Fiber Optic Cable Junction Box is a mechanically sealed enclosure. It is designed to protect optical fibers, splices, and optical components; facilitate fiber organization; and store excess fiber. Hermetically sealed to withstand harsh weather conditions, these boxes can be installed outdoors or in indoor environments such as manholes, walls, or cable corridors.

 

The Fiber Optic Junction Box features four separate cable channels at one end. Each channel allows for the input of at least two medium-capacity multi-fiber cables (dual input) or up to six small-capacity cables (7 mm diameter). The clamp-on hermetic seal mechanism enables full assembly and disassembly of the lid without specialized tools. Cable entry points are sealed at the box using rubber gaskets with pre-cut inlets.

Features of Fiber Optic Cable Joint Box:

 

• ​​Input/output cable diameters:​​ 7 to 22 mm. Maximum capacity: 256 fiber optic (F.O.) fusions (double-layer).

• Splice trays:​​ Rectangular, wide-access design with extendable tabs for easy fiber storage (up to 32 F.O. fibers, double-layer). Both the support block and individual trays can rotate 90° and lock into fixed positions for installation flexibility.

• Operational continuity:​​ Boxes can be opened, closed, and handled without interrupting active circuits. Allows joining/segregating cables without cutting all fibers, and provides adequate storage for excess tubes/fibers.

• Axial tension load per cable:​​ >1000 N (calculated as D/45 mm, where D = cable diameter). Test duration: 1 hour per cable. Maximum cable displacement: <3 mm.

• Cable flexion:​​ Maximum 30° bend under 500 N force. Force applied 400 mm from seal end. Test cycles: 5 per cable.

• Cable torque:​​ Maximum 90° rotation under 50 N·m torque. Force applied 400 mm from seal end. Test cycles: 5 per cable.

• Vibration resistance:​​ Frequency range 10–15 Hz. Swee rate: one octave per minute. Waveform: sinusoidal; amplitude: 3 mm (6 mm peak-to-peak). Cable fastened 500 mm from seal end. Test duration: 2 hours per axis.

• Static load resistance:​​ >1000 N (applied over 25 cm² for 10 minutes).

• Operating temperature:​​ -25°C to +70°C.

• Mechanical impact protection:​​ IK09 (20 J).

• Ingress protection:​​ IP68 (fully hermetic and weatherproof for outdoor use).

• Durability:​​ Materials engineered for a minimum service life of 20 years.
