Product Overview
 

Cold shrink tubes are primarily manufactured from two elastomeric materials: ​silicone rubber​ and ​Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM)​. The fundamental operating principle relies on a ​pre-expanded technology. During production, the tube is factory-expanded and mounted onto a removable plastic or rigid core.

 

During field installation, after positioning the tube over the cable connection, the core is simply pulled away. The tube then shrinks radially onto the substrate automatically due to its elastic memory, forming a tight, conformal seal without requiring any heat sources, torches, or professional tools .

Positioning
