Heatshrink Dome-Type 288 Cores Fiber Splice Closure
The Fiber Splice Closure is widely used to protect fusion splices of two fiber optic cables, or for branch applications from the backbone to premises. According to customized requirements, we can assemble splice trays in our factory to reduce field installation time. This vertical fiber splice closure is constructed from PC (polycarbonate) engineering plastic, featuring waterproof and UV-resistant properties. It is suitable for aerial, duct, or direct buried applications in harsh environments.
The Dome Fiber Splice Closure is designed to house, organize, manage, and protect fiber optic cables and splices. The closure shall be hermetically sealed and provide IP68-rated protection when properly used with the supplied grommets to seal cable entries and exits. The closure is designed to accommodate buffer tube or ribbon fiber splices when the appropriate splice tray is installed. Each unit includes an enclosure dome, the appropriate splice tray organizer, and a grommet kit.
