The Splice Enclosure GL-8207-B is primarily used for optical fiber connection and protection. This enclosure is suitable for straight and branch connections in aerial, conduit, and direct buried installations. The box body and base are sealed using clamping hoops and rubber gaskets. The closure casing is manufactured from high-quality engineering plastics, offering excellent resistance to acid, alkali, and salt corrosion, along with UV/anti-aging properties. It features a smooth appearance and reliable mechanical construction designed to withstand harsh environments, extreme climate variations, and demanding operating conditions.
Inside the splice enclosure, the splice trays (FOST) pivot like booklets and provide adequate bend radius and space for fiber management, ensuring a minimum bend radius of 40 mm for optical fibers. Each optical cable and individual fiber can be accessed and managed separately.

Cable Connection in the Fiber Splice Enclosure:
Step 1 Strip the cable sheath from distribution cable; remove the sheath at least 1.15m.
Strip the loose tube, reserve about 40mm length. Cut and reserve the strength member about 50mm.
Step 2 Use screwdriver to pry open 4 buckles, open the cover.
Step 3 Use Allen key to screw off the screws at the mid-span distribution port. Take out the pressing block and double holes seal ring. Cut open the either sides of the seal ring. Pass the mid-span distribution cable into the mid-span cable port. Install the sealing assembly in order on the distribution cable.
Step 4 Secure the strength member and distribution cable.

Splice Enclosure Installation:
Wall-mounted: Drill 3 holes on the wall, the dimension is shown below. Hammer the expansion sleeves separately into the holes. Secure the box on the wall with 3 screws.
Pole-mounted: Install the mounting brackets at the back of box. Pass the pole hoop into the brackets. Secure the box on the pole.
