GL-G144 Fiber Optical Splice Closure
The GL-G144 fiber optic splice closure is a versatile optical cable connection solution designed for fiber connection and division. Suitable for various optical cable types including loose sleeve and skeleton cables, it supports installation in diverse environments such as aerial, wall-mounted, pipeline, manhole, and underground applications. The closure accommodates multiple connection methods including distribution, bridging, and branching.
Features
GL-G144 Fiber Optical Splice Closure featuring a hinged structure with buckles and vulcanized silicone rubber strip sealing, the closure achieves IP68 protection. It complies with IEC standards and offers mechanical sealing with repeated open/close capability.
The design provides ample space for fiber joint placement and storage while protecting connections from external environmental factors. With 6 cable ports supporting diameters from Φ3-20mm, it accommodates uncut, incoming, and outgoing cables. The closure has a 24F tray capacity (maximum 6 splice trays) and supports up to 144F fusion splices. It also supports up to 16 OptiTap adapters for pre-connected compatibility.
Specifications
The GL-G144 optical fiber connector is compactly designed, measuring 340 mm in length, 180 mm in width and 140 mm in height, with a weight ranging from 3.0 to 3.5 kilograms. It is made of durable PP+GF material and features a hinge-type mechanical seal, achieving an IP68 protection rating. The enclosure includes 3 inlet and 3 outlet cable ports, capable of accommodating cables with diameters ranging from Φ8 mm to Φ18 mm.
Supports OptiTap SC/APC adapters and offers the ability to splice up to 144 fibers, organized on 6 splicing trays, with each tray handling 24 fibers. In addition, each tray can be integrated with a separator. The multi-functional design is suitable for installation in the air, manholes, utility poles, walls and underground, providing reliable performance in various network environments.
