Description

The GL-OTB-8-A fiber optic terminal box is designed for indoor multi-dwelling unit (MDU) buildings in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks. This unit provides optimized fiber management for riser cable and facilitates 8-fiber distribution in Point-to-Point (P2P) networks or 8-fiber splitting in Point-to-Multi-Point (P2MP) Passive Optical Networks (PON). It is capable of serving up to 8 subscribers. The GL-OTB-8-A integrates fiber cable fixation, storage, splicing, distribution, and splitting functionalities into a single, compact, indoor wall-mounting enclosure.

The distribution panel flips up to allow feeder cable placement via an expression port, simplifying maintenance and installation. Designed for versatility, the cabinet can be wall-mounted or pole-mounted, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The terminal box integrates a splice tray and a comprehensive cable management system, offering versatile installation applications. It ensures fiber bending radius control of more than 40mm to prevent signal loss and is suitable for both fusion splice and mechanical splice methods.

Technical Specifications

The GL-OTB-8-A fiber optic terminal box measures 235mm (L) × 125mm (W) × 50mm (H) with a ±3mm tolerance and weighs 0.5kg. Constructed from durable ABS or PC/ABC material, it features a mechanical seal with IP40 protection grade and IK07 impact resistance.

The unit accommodates mid-span cables up to Φ10mm in diameter and provides 24-fiber splice capacity distributed across 2 trays (12 fibers per tray). It comes standard with 8 SC adaptors and can optionally house either two 1:4 splitters or one 1:8 PLC splitter.

Designed for wall mounting in indoor environments, this terminal box offers comprehensive fiber management including fixation, storage, splicing, distribution, and splitting capabilities in a compact enclosure.
