1x8 Aerial Inline Installation Fiber Optic Splitter Closure
The GL-9414 Fiber Optic Splitter Closure is a horizontal-type closure. Its primary function is to protect direct connections, splices, and wiring connections for various types of optical cables in optical transmission lines. It features a breathable structure and is primarily designed for aerial installations. All internal metal components of the Fiber Optic Splitter Closure are made of 304 stainless steel, and it supports messenger wire installation. The fiber closure has a compact structure and small size.
This newly designed Fiber Optic Splitter Closure is engineered for in-line applications, providing a protected access point between distribution cables and drop cables. Its design ensures internal components are shielded from outdoor environmental damage. The product features a flexible configuration that supports 2 cables in and 2 cables out, and a cassette-type optical splitter can be built in. With robust performance in harsh environments, it integrates both splitting and distribution functions into a single termination box. It enables optical cable splicing and branching, making it suitable for connecting cables in optical communication equipment.
Through the fiber optic closure's adapter, signals are routed via fiber optic jumpers to achieve fiber distribution. It is also ideal for protective connections between fiber cables and pigtails. The unique box-shaped structure serves dual purposes: it can function as a fiber splitting or splice box. Its flip-core design rotates 180 degrees for easier installation and maintenance. When the flip core is removed, the unit converts into a splice closure, offering users versatile configuration choices.

• Inlet cable type: ADSS/ARSS. Cable diameter: 7–11.5 mm. Quantity: 4 ports on the left side.
• Outlet cable type: Drop cable. Cable diameter: 2×3 mm. Quantity: 8 pieces on the right side.
• Splice capacity: 12F fusion splicing; 40mm heat-shrink sleeves.
• Splice tray capacity: 12F, with separate storage zones for inlet and outlet fiber cables.
• Heat-shrink tubes can be overlapped.
• Inline structure with front clamshell design.
