The GL-ODB-16S is a 16-core FTTH distribution enclosure box that utilizes FastConnect technology to enable faster and easier deployment of FTTH networks.
Product Description
The GL-ODB-16S Fiber Optic Cable Distribution Box is designed for splicing, terminating, and splitting fibers between distribution optical cables and drop cables while providing reliable protection. The box supports one distribution cable input and provides output for up to 16 FastConnect drop cables.
It can accommodate either two 1:8 splitters or one 1:16 splitter.
This distribution box is versatile, compatible with various optical cable types (loose sleeve, skeleton, etc.), and suitable for installation in multiple environments including overhead, wall-mounted, pipeline, manhole, and underground applications. It supports various connecting methods such as distribution, bridge, and branch.
Key Features and Benefits
The Fiber Optic Cable Distribution Box features a page-turning structure sealed with a hasp and vulcanized silicone tape, ensuring a high level of protection. It boasts an IP65 protection grade, providing excellent mechanical sealing and the ability to be repeatedly opened and closed. The spacious interior allows for safe placement of fiber connectors and storage of excess fiber, shielding them from environmental damage.
It includes three cable ports with modulated rubber sealing to support uncut cable and in-out cable, accommodating cable diameters up to 20 mm. Additionally, it offers 16 ports designed for fast-connected drop cables, streamlining the installation process.
