2U Sliding Fiber Patch Panel

A Sliding Patch Panel is a modular networking component designed for efficient cable management in data centers or server racks. It features a sliding mechanism that allows the panel to extend forward, providing easier access to ports and cables during installation, maintenance, or reorganization without requiring full disassembly. This design minimizes disruption to adjacent equipment, reduces strain on cables, and improves airflow in high-density environments, making it ideal for environments requiring frequent adjustments or upgrades.

The GL-ODF-RS-0248 is a sliding-type fiber optic patch panel designed for the protective connection and distribution of:

• Loose tube optical cables or bundled pigtails and jumpers,

• Branch optical cables and jumpers,

• Steel tube-type PLC splitters and jumpers,

• Jumper-to-jumper connections.

With a 2U height, it supports 48–96 fiber connections. Its bracket is compatible with 19-inch or 21-inch rack-mounted applications.

Features：

• The Sliding Patch Panel is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel, and the surface is coated with electrostatic powder.

• The front door features a hinge with a flip-type structure and an elastic door buckle locking mechanism.

• The unit includes a metal pull-out tray with slide rails, a stainless steel restraint buckle on the side, and a restraint strap on the back to ensure high reliability.

• The fiber splice tray is made of high-quality plastic and includes the fiber splicing module, fiber arrangement module, and adapter panel, all of which can be disassembled and interchanged.

• The splice tray is installed on a stepped bracket that can be stacked according to the required number of U. The tray has flip-up supporting members on the side, allowing convenient fiber splicing.

• Flared fiber outlet ports are located on both sides of the box, providing effective protection for fiber cables and pigtails.

• The pull-out chassis is suitable for installation in standard 19-inch or 21-inch cabinets or racks.
