Om3 Multimode Fiber Cable
OM3 Multimode Fiber Cable is primarily used for indoor cabling and connecting various indoor communication equipment, instruments, and devices. The cable structure consists of multiple 900μm (single-mode or multi-mode) flame-retardant, tightly buffered optical fibers as the transmission medium, with a layer of aramid yarn serving as the strength member. The outer layer is extruded with a flat protective buffer made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or low-smoke, non-halogen (LSZH) material, which is flame-retardant.
OM3 Multimode Fiber Cable is constructed by evenly wrapping strands of aramid yarn around 900μm or 600μm tight-buffered fibers to act as the strength member. The assembly is then encased in a PVC or LSZH jacket for protection.
