This Fiber Distribution Pedestal (FDP) provides up to a 72-port PON in a direct-bury pedestal. This pedestal provides a cost-effective solution for smaller PON service areas serving up to 72 subscribers, such as low-density rural applications, multiple dwelling units, and other fiber-deep architectures.

The Fiber Distribution Pedestal offers a cost-effective and scalable option for FTTH networks. Direct splicing within the fiber cassettes helps reduce overall installation costs and can eliminate the need for additional splice cases and vaults.

Positioned to accommodate three 1xN splitters, the pedestal interconnects the OLT ports to the splitter inputs. The splitter outputs are then connected to the distribution cassettes.
