The materials used for the parts where the terminal box is located should have anti-corrosion performance. If there is no anti-corrosion performance, anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out; Its physical and chemical properties must be stable; Various materials must be compatible with each other and compatible with fiber optic cable sheaths and wiring tail fiber sheaths. To prevent corrosion and other electrical damage, these materials must also be compatible with materials commonly used in other equipment.
If the terminal box is made of engineering plastic, its combustion performance should comply with the requirement of Test A in GB/T5169.7, with a duration of 30 seconds of flame application.
2. The material and filler used for enhancing the protection of fiber optic joints should have a hot melt temperature of not less than 120 ℃, a hot softening temperature of not less than 90 ℃, and should be able to be used at temperatures ranging from 25 ℃ to+40 ℃.
3. All materials should be non-toxic, non corrosive, and have no side effects on human health and other equipment.
The appearance terminal box should have a complete shape, without burrs, bubbles, cracks, voids, warping, impurities, and other defects. All background colors should be uniform and continuous.
